On Friday, March 13, Pope John XXIII Regional High School in Sparta, N.J., welcomed Diane Striegel, who shared the “Eucharistic Miracles Around the World” exhibit with students. Striegel, of Boonton, has taken the exhibit — designed by St. Carlo Acutis — to dozens of churches and other locations in the Northeast U.S. Students learned about the life and legacy of the first millennial saint and had the opportunity to explore a display documenting the 158 Eucharistic Miracles that inspired St. Carlo.
Accompanying the exhibit was a first-class relic of St. Carlo. In addition, Striegel presented each student with a special third-class relic — a tiny Jesus that had been touched to the reliquary containing St. Carlo’s hair. The afternoon was filled with blessings for the Pope John community.
