Blessed Mother Seton Council 5410, a Knights of Columbus chapter in the Flanders neighborhood of Mount Olive Township, N.J., recently arranged for a reliquary containing relics of six priests to visit St. Lawrence the Martyr Parish in Chester, N.J. The priests, who were also Knights of Columbus, were martyred for their Catholic faith in Mexico during the Cristero War in the 1920s. The relics were venerated at six Masses on July 19 and 20, during which the faithful were able to have their religious items turned into third-degree relics by touching them to the first-degree relics in the reliquary.
