St. Andrew the Apostle Parish and St. Clare Parish, both in Clifton, joined together on May 1 to welcome Bishop Kevin J. Sweeney, who celebrated a Mass in St. Andrew Church. There, he administered the sacrament of confirmation to 10 St. Andrew’s youth and 14 St. Clare’s youth.
Father Jeider S. Barraza, pastor of St. Andrew’s; Father Peter Glabik, pastor of St. Clare’s; and Father Thomas Fitzgerald, parochial vicar of St. Clare’s, concelebrated the Mass with Bishop Sweeney.
