On Saturday, Dec. 6, the Society of the Sisters of the Church, along with members of their Associate Program, gathered at St. Peter the Apostle Church in Parsippany for their annual Advent Day of Reflection. A presentation in two parts, entitled “Advent Looks at the Future” and “What Do We Believe about the Second Coming?” was given by Father James White, a priest of the Archdiocese of Newark. Father David Pickens, pastor of St. Peter the Apostle, presided and was assisted by Deacon Peter Cistaro.
