Knights conduct successful fundraising drive to benefit heart and lung center

Members of the Knights of Columbus Marquette Council 588 braved the brisk fall weather on Oct. 17 in Sparta, N.J. — with buckets and warm cocoa in hand — for their annual fundraising drive to support the Deborah Heart and Lung Center.

Thanks to the dedication of the knights and the generosity of drivers and neighbors passing through Sussex County, the drive was a success. Every donation directly helps ensure that Deborah Heart and Lung Center can continue its life-saving mission of providing world-class medical care at no cost to patients.

For more than 125 years, Council 588 has faithfully served the local Catholic communities of Our Lady of the Lake Parish in Sparta, N.J., St. Thomas the Apostle Parish in Ogdensburg, N.J., and Immaculate Conception Parish in Franklin, N.J.
