Bishop Kevin J. Sweeney administered the sacrament of Confirmation to 17 students at Our Lady of Good Counsel (OLGC) Parish in the Pompton Plains neighborhood of Pequannock on April 25. Father Darwin Lastra, OLGC’s pastor, concelebrated the Mass. Father Stephen Prisk, pastor of Holy Spirit Parish in Pequannock and vice-chancellor of the Paterson Diocese, was master of ceremonies. Deacon Marc Mackin assisted with the liturgy.
