The community of St. Bonaventure Parish in Paterson on Jun. 9 welcomed Bishop Kevin J. Sweeney, who celebrated Mass. There, he administered the sacrament of confirmation on 15 youths of the parish, run by the Franciscan Friars, bringing them into full communion with the Church. Concelebrating the Mass with the bishop were Franciscan Father Daniel Grigassy, St. Bonaventure’s pastor, and Franciscan Father Robert Norton, senior associate Friar. Deacon Joseph Balough and Deacon Michael Tomcho assisted with the liturgy.
