The Salesian Sisters of St. John Bosco, Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, in North Haledon received many of God’s blessings for their vocations at three milestone events religious profession early this month.
On Aug. 4, Salesian Lou Konopelski celebrated a Mass in the sisters’ St. Joseph Chapel for Profession of Vows. Twelve temporary professed Salesian sisters renewed their vows.
They were Sister Janna San Juan, Sister Anne Weis, Sister Natasha Roig, Sister Amy Nguyen, Sister Kathleen Deighan, Sister Nicole Daly, Sister Jessica Castillo, Sister Juliana Alfonso, Sister Pamela Rose, Sister Boram Lee, Sister Rachel Lauritsen, and Sister Mare Fe Tansioco.
On Aug. 5, three Salesian sisters made their first vows in St. Joseph Chapel, during Mass celebrated by Father Dominic Tran, SDB, Salesian provincial. The newly professed are Sister Natalie Doummar, Sister Kaitlin Trokan, and Sister Jazmin Rangel.
Also on Aug. 5, a Salesian sister professed her perpetual vows, during a Mass in St. Joseph Chapel, celebrated by Bishop Kevin J. Sweeney. She was Sister Molly Heine.
