The families of St. Gerard Majella School in Paterson gathered on Oct. 30 to celebrate Family Night and the Feast of All Saints. Children dressed as Saints and spoke about them. Msgr. George Hundt, St. Gerard’s pastor, and Filippini Sister Jo-Ann Pompa, principal, led a prayer service. An All Saints parade followed the prayer service. The families enjoyed the food they prepared and brought to the celebration. A school liturgy on the Feast of All Saints was held on Nov. 1. Parents attended and enjoyed the students’ presentation of the Saints they represented.
