St. Francis de Sales Parish in the McAfee neighborhood of Vernon held its annual Veterans Mass on Nov. 10 to pray for and honor the living and deceased members of the U.S. Armed Services. Father Christopher Barkhausen, St. Francis’ pastor, celebrated the Mass, assisted by Deacon Dennis Gil. A reception for the veterans and their families followed the Mass.
