Mary Help of Christians Academy (MHCA) in North Haledon graduated 29 seniors, during commencement on June 8. Valedictorian Giulia Russo urged her fellow graduates to seize the day and their true potential in her speech. Salutatorian Isabella Facciolo told graduates the Blessed Mother handpicked every student in MHCA in her address. Gabriella Corbo, a Class of 2017 alumna and a pediatric oncologist at Hackensack University Medical Center, spoke about living the Salesian spirituality in the world and their daily lives. The Salesian Sisters of St. John administer MHCA.
