Members of JFK Knights of Columbus Council 5486 in Lincoln Park and family members purchased four backpacks and supplies for local school children in need. Deputy Grand Knight Pat Quinlan; his wife, Danielle; his daughter, Bryn; and Grand Knight Rick Doyle communicated with school officials to understand the potential needs, obtained the school supply requirements, then purchased the backpacks and supplies. The Quinlan family packed each backpack with the required supplies as needed for each grade level. The backpacks were then given to the local school officials to distribute to students in need.
