A Mass for the repose of the soul of Deacon Paul Puleo, a retired permanent deacon of the Paterson Diocese, will be held on Aug. 19 at 8:30 a.m. in St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 130 St. Maximilian Lane in Toms River. His funeral arrangements already have been completed.
Deacon Puleo died on July 20 after battling a long illness. He was ordained in 1995 and served St. Kateri Tekakwitha Parish in Sparta for many years.
