On Nov. 9 morning, 13 U.S. military veterans received red, white, and blue quilts from Quilts of Valor during a ceremony at Our Lady of Consolation (OLC) Parish in Wayne in gratitude for their service to the country. The mission of the Quilts of Valor Foundation is to cover service members and veterans touched by war with comforting and healing Quilts of Valor. This was OLC’s third annual Quilts of Valor ceremony.
