Organ Recital featuring Dr. Pamela Meys Kane
Dr. Pamela Meys Kane will present an organ recital on Friday, Sept. 18, at 7 p.m.
A native of Morristown, Dr. Kane comes from a family with deep Morristown and Assumption roots extending back to the early 1900s.
The program will include music of J.S. Bach, “An Irish Triptych” by James Boeringer, Gullah spirituals by Marianne Kim, film music arranged by Anna Lapwood, and “Bridal Procession” composed by Charles Meys.
The Morristown High School choir, under the direction of Christine Scott, will perform “Ave Maria” and the Morristown High School alma mater, both composed by Meys.
