With patriotism, Sparta Knights help honor vets at celebration

Five Knights of Columbus from Marquette Council 588 participated in the Sparta Veterans Day celebration in New Jersey at Sparta Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 7248. Bishop Emeritus Paul Bootkoski of the Metuchen Diocese in New Jersey gave a blessing to the crowd. He is chaplain of the Sparta VFW and the New Jersey Knights of Columbus.

“With deep patriotism, a key principle of the Knights of Columbus, we honor the veterans who served our nation by defending the Constitution of the United States,” according to the Marquette Council.
