The competition comprised more than 500 swimmers and 139 teams across the United States. The two Pope John swimmers competed in multiple events, achieved multiple lifetime best times, and ranked high in the final results.
Hunter Gallo swam 48th overall in 58.42 seconds in the 100 Breaststroke and 127th overall in 22.09 seconds in the 50 Freestyle.
Kai Batchelor swam 12th overall in 20.81 seconds in the 50 Freestyle, 17th overall in 45.37 seconds in the 100 Freestyle, 26th overall in 1 minute 41.83 seconds in the 200 Freestyle, 12th overall in 49.14 seconds in the 100 Butterfly, 6th overall in 3 minutes 21.11 seconds in the 400 Medley Relay, 9th overall in 3 minutes 4.12 seconds in the 400 Freestyle Relay, and 12th overall in 6 minutes 50.18 seconds in the 800 Freestyle Relay.
Together, Gallo and Batchelor swam 5th overall in 1 minute 31.46 seconds in the 200 Medley Relay and 12th overall in 1 minute 24.52 seconds in the 200 Freestyle Relay.
