Bishop Kevin J. Sweeney celebrated a Mass for the Jubilee of Seminarians at Notre Dame of Mount Carmel Church in the Cedar Knolls neighborhood of Hanover Township, N.J., on Aug. 15, the Solemnity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The bishop was the main celebrant and homilist of the liturgy. The celebration included a Mass and prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. Intentions were made for seminarians as they prepare for their upcoming year in seminary and for an increase in vocations. Many diocesan seminarians participated in or attended the liturgy.
