St. Pat’s events salute Irish heritage at Paterson hospital

St. Joseph University Medical Center in Paterson celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with a Mass and reception on March 17.

Doctors and staff, many of whom wore green for Irish heritage, joined the clergy for a Mass in the chapel. Msgr. George Hundt, pastor of St. Gerard and Our Lady of Pompei parishes, both in Paterson, celebrated the Mass with Father Justin Puthussery, who assists at St. Bonaventure Parish in Paterson. Deacon Lawrence Duffy, St. Joseph’s pastoral care director, assisted with the Mass.
