The Theatre Department of St. Anthony School in Hawthorne delighted audiences by transporting them to 1938 Austria during its breathtaking production of the musical “The Sound of Music” on April 11 and 12.

From the moment the curtain rose, guests were immersed in a world of song and story, brought to life through spectacular set designs by Foxy Award-winning designer Annette Murphy. The stage was a visual masterpiece, complemented by beautiful, period-inspired costumes that added authenticity and charm to every scene.
The talented Tiffany DellaCroce directed and choreographed the production. She brought out the best in the young performers. Music director Paula Kraft led the cast in delivering pitch-perfect renditions of iconic songs, filling the auditorium with joy and nostalgia.
