The sisters and associates of the Society of the Sisters of the Church participated in their annual Advent day of reflection at St. Peter the Apostle Church in Parsippany on Dec. 7. Father David Pickens, St. Peter’s pastor, celebrated a Mass. Deacon Peter Cistaro of St. Peter’s assisted with the liturgy and gave a homily. Father Marc Mancini, pastor of St. James of the Marches in Totowa and a judicial vicar for the Paterson Diocese, gave an inspiring presentation.
