The Knights of Columbus Council 12649 in Stockholm presented checks to Laura Luminello, vice president and founder of Nick’s Hope, Inc.; Tina Magarino, executive director of Birth Haven, and Hazel Yaptangco, development and public relations director of Catholic Charities of the Paterson Diocese, representing the Department of Persons with Disabilities, which is part of Catholic Charities. The knights held fundraisers like bingo, a fish fry, and a golf outing.
