Mendham pastor marks 50 years of devoted service

Msgr. Joseph Anginoli, pastor of St. Joseph Parish in Mendham and adjunct judicial vicar of the Paterson Diocesan Tribunal, celebrated the Golden Anniversary of his priestly ordination with a Mass on May 18 in the church.

Msgr. Anginoli celebrated the 50th anniversary of Mass with several diocesan priests. Father Nico Quintos, the diocesan minister to senior priests who is pursuing graduate studies, was the master of ceremonies for the Mass. Father Vic Karljohn Rouie Reyes Leviste, St. Joseph’s parochial vicar, gave the homily. Msgr. Anginoli also made remarks.

The adult choir and children’s choir participated in the Mass. A reception in the parish hall followed the liturgy.

Msgr. Anginoli is a Cranford native. Bishop Lawrence B. Casey ordained him to the priesthood on May 24, 1975, at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Paterson. In February 2005, Msgr. Anginoli was appointed pastor of St. Joseph Parish in Mendham. He also serves as the Tribunal’s adjunct judicial vicar.
