Holding blessed palms, the faithful of St. Paul Parish in Clifton, N.J., observed Palm Sunday with Bishop Kevin J. Sweeney on the evening of Saturday, March 28, for a Spanish Vigil Mass. Palm Sunday marks the end of Lent and the beginning of Holy Week, the most sacred week on the Church calendar. Father Leonardo Jaramillo, pastor of St. Paul’s, concelebrated the Mass with Bishop Sweeney. Deacon Hector Castellanos assisted with the liturgy.
