On May 10, 47 youth from the Family Faith Formation program of Holy Family Parish in Pequannock and the parish school received Jesus’ Body and Blood in the Eucharist for the first time during two Masses at 10 a.m. and noon.
Addressing the First Communicants, Father Prisk said, “Boys and girls, today we become a tabernacle. We become the dwelling place of God as we receive him in the Eucharist. And so as Jesus dwells in us, may others recognize him in us, and may the Eucharist change us to be more like him. May others recognize Jesus in us and, importantly, may we recognize Jesus in other people and treat them accordingly.”
