The Hesburgh Lecture – Faith & Mental Health: A Way Forward
We are facing a mental health crisis with rising distress and illness, especially among youth, prompting urgent questions: What’s driving this epidemic, and how can we support those affected?
Beth Hlabse, program director of the Fiat Program on Faith and Mental Health at the McGrath Institute for Church Life at the University of Notre Dame, will offer an integrative perspective rooted in Catholic faith, neuroscience, and psychology. Come learn, understand and discuss perspectives with one another.
This lecture is jointly sponsored by Saint Elizabeth University and the Notre Dame Club of Central NJ, and is open to alumni and friends of both universities who seek to understand the connection between faith, mental health and its impact on society.
