On Nov. 30, Tristan Vollero, a senior of Pope John XXIII Regional High School in Sparta, organized a small group of volunteers to decorate Nazareth Village, a residence for retired priests in Chester, with Christmas lights. Vollero decorated as an act of service to the retired priest residents who lived a lifetime for others. Fellow Pope John seniors Joshua Watson and Cody Williams heard about the need and immediately volunteered. Vollero’s younger brother, Flynn, and his friend also assisted.
