Bishop Kevin J. Sweeney on May 17 visited St. Mary Parish in Denville, N.J., to celebrate a Mass. There, the bishop confirmed 38 parish youth, an important milestone that marks their entering into full communion with the Catholic Church.

Bishop Sweeney was the main celebrant and homilist of the Mass. Father Martin Glynn, pastor of St. Mary’s and president of the board of Catholic Charities of the Paterson Diocese, N.J., concelebrated the liturgy. Father Stephen A. Delia Jr., the parish’s parochial vicar, served as master of ceremonies. Deacon Mike Allgaier of St. Mary’s assisted with the Mass.
