Deacon Steve Javie is a retired NBA referee with 25 years of experience and is currently an analyst with ESPN. He was ordained a deacon in 2019, and he and his wife, Maryellen, live in Newtown, Pa., where he is assigned to St. Andrew Parish. Deacon Javie drove up to join Bishop J.
