Holy Spirit Parish in Pequannock on May 5 welcomed Bishop Kevin J. Sweeney, who administered confirmation to 31 youths during a Mass he celebrated. Father Stephen Prisk, Holy Spirit’s pastor, and Paterson Diocesan vice chancellor, concelebrated the liturgy. Rev. Mr. Brendon J. Harfmann assisted with the Mass. He is among three transitional deacons who will be ordained to the Paterson Diocesan priesthood by Bishop Sweeney on Saturday, June 7, at 10 a.m. in the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Paterson.
