Priest shares joy of 65th ordination anniversary at Mass

Msgr. Kevin Flanagan, a retired priest of the Paterson Diocese, celebrated the 65th anniversary of this ordination on June 15 with a Thanksgiving Mass at the Church of Christ the King in the New Vernon neighborhood of Harding Township. Fellow priests concelebrated the Mass. Msgr. Raymond Kupke, pastor of St. Anthony Parish in Hawthorne and diocesan archivist, and Father Paul Manning, diocesan vicar for evangelization, shared reflections about Msgr. Flanagan. The Irish-born Msgr. Flanagan is pastor emeritus of St. Lawrence the Martyr Parish in Chester and a Christ the King weekend assistant.
