Bishop Emeritus Arthur Serratelli administered the sacrament of confirmation to 16 candidates on April 8 at St. Thomas during a Mass. Fourteen candidates were from St. Thomas Parish while two were from St. James the Greater Parish in Montague. Bishop Serratelli celebrated the Mass, which was concelebrated by Father Wayne Varga, pastor of St. Thomas and St. James. Deacon Wayne von Doehren assisted with the liturgy. John Lucadamo, Heather Lubchansky, and Mike Bussow were the catechists.
