Bishop confirms 62 in Passaic, including adults

Bishop Kevin J. Sweeney on June 9 visited the Shrine of St. John Paul II/Holy Rosary Parish in Passaic, where he celebrated Mass. He administered the sacrament of confirmation on 62 people — mostly youth of the Polish parish, but also three adults. Father Stephen Las, Holy Rosary’s pastor; Father Michal Dykalski, parochial vicar; Father Slawomir Tomaszewski, parochial vicar; and a priest who visited from Poland for the confirmation of his cousin’s son, concelebrated the Mass with Bishop Sweeney.
