The Office of Youth Ministry of the Diocese of Paterson held its first of three Diocesan Regional Retreats on Jan. 25 at Resurrection Parish in Randolph. The day’s theme was “Knights of the Spirit.”
Participants explored the Fruits and Gifts of the Holy Spirit and how to live them out daily. John Cammarata, diocesan youth ministry director and religious education and youth ministry director at St. Peter the Apostle Parish in Parsippany, and the Diocesan Youth Leadership Team led the retreat, which more than 90 teens attended. The day ended with a Mass celebrated by Father John F. Tarantino, Resurrection’s pastor.
Diocesan Regional Retreats will be held on Saturday, Feb. 22, at Good Shepherd Parish in Andover.
