On Nov. 23, Confirmation students from St. Joseph Parish in Passaic, their parents, and their teacher, Tom Baniszewski, distributed more than 1,000 free turkeys, rice, potatoes, and other Thanksgiving foods to Passaic residents with Passaic Mayor Hector Lora, city staff, and other volunteers. Lora personally thanked the St. Joseph’s youth for their hard work and posted the message on the city’s Facebook page.
