Morristown monthly Mass and Procession for Life marks second anniversary

On Oct. 11, Bishop Kevin J. Sweeney rejoiced in marking the second anniversary of the monthly Mass and Procession for Life at St. Margaret of Scotland Parish in Morristown, N.J., to pray for and witness to a greater respect for every human life. The event draws Catholics from around the Paterson Diocese in New Jersey.

The bishop celebrated 8 a.m. Mass in St. Margaret Church. The Mass was concelebrated by priests, including Father Duberney Villamizar, pastor of St. Margaret. After the Mass, Bishop Sweeney led an outdoor rosary procession for life on the streets of Morristown to Planned Parenthood on Speedwell Avenue, where he prayed the rosary with congregants for an end to abortion. The event included Benediction and fellowship in the church.
