Women’s Cornerstone Retreat

Could you use 26 hours away from the hustle of daily life? A break where you are pampered spiritually, emotionally and physically? 

Our Lady of the Lake in Sparta is sponsoring their ninth annual Cornerstone Women’s Retreat on April 25 & 26.  Cornerstone is a 26-hour retreat that provides the opportunity to reflect, renew and strengthen one’s faith while connecting with other women.  It will be held at the Our Lady of the Lake Parish facilities. This year’s theme is The Lord is my Shepherd.

The goal of Cornerstone is for each participant to revitalize and deepen her spiritual development. While prayer and quiet reflection are components of the weekend, so too are faith-sharing and fellowship. Faith-sharing reveals how Christ, the Cornerstone of our faith, has played a significant role in each participant’s journey.

Participants have described the experience as, “giving me a new spiritual framework and outlook,” “giving me a deeper sense of community and the opportunity to make good friends” and “giving me a lasting renewal of my faith and filling of my spirit.”
