Chatham school grads win over $800,000 in scholarships

St. Patrick School in Chatham announced its 26 graduates were accepted into the area’s top parochial and private schools and received more than $800,000 in scholarships.

“I am proud of our Grade 8 graduates and all they have accomplished in their time at St. Patrick School. Like many before them, they have left a legacy of academic and spiritual excellence,” said Dr. Christine Ross, principal. “Our students graduate from St. Patrick School and go on to become creative problem solvers, effective communicators and future leaders in all areas that they serve.”

St. Patrick’s graduates will attend the following parochial and private high schools: Villa Walsh, Academy of St. Elizabeth, Seton Hall Prep, Oratory Prep, Mount St. Mary Academy, Morris Catholic High School, Delbarton School, Pingry, and Kent Place.

Founded in 1872, St. Patrick’s is a U.S. Department of Education National Blue Ribbon School and an AdvancED STEM Certified School.
