The Interprovincial Conference of CIMAC–NAC gathered for the Triennial Verification, an experience of fraternity, synodality, and discernment that united 47 Sisters, lay collaborators, and young people across cultures and languages from eight different provinces of the Salesian Sisters: SEC (Eastern United States and Canada), SUO (Western United States), ANT (Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Cuba), HAI (Haiti), MMO (Mexico North), MME (Mexico South), CAM (El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras) and CAR (Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Panamá).

The meeting took place at the Sacred Heart Spirituality Center in Newton, N.J., from Aug. 11 to 15. It was attended by the Superior General of the Institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, Mother Chiara Cazzuola, and some General Councilors: Sister María del Rosario García Ribas, Sister Nilza Fátima de Moraes, Sister Ruth del Pilar Mora, Sister Ena Veralís Bolaños, Sister Maria Ausilia De Siena, Sister Leslie Sandigo Ortega, and Sister Phyllis Neves. The richness of CIMAC–NAC is also a special challenge: the Conferences live life in four languages: French, Italian, Spanish, and English.
On Aug. 11, the Feast of St. Clare, Bishop Kevin J. Sweeney of the Diocese of Paterson presided over Mass. He encouraged all to live humility, gratitude, and hope in their Salesian vocation. At the end of the Mass, the bishop gave a special blessing to Mother Chiara, whose feast day it was.
