The Paterson Diocese will host its 25th annual Blue Mass, this year called the Jubilee of Law Enforcement, on Saturday, May 3, at 10:30 a.m. in the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Paterson to honor and give thanks for the sacrifices made by the brave men and women who serve in law enforcement.
The Jubilee for Law Enforcement is among many events the Paterson Diocese has been holding for the Jubilee Year of Hope.
Those in attendance will prayerfully remember Sgt. Joseph Azcona of the Newark Police Department, Officer Joe Valentin of the Paterson Police Department, and Trooper II Marcellus E. Bethea, Major Jeffrey Burke, and Sgt. James J. Puhalski of the N.J. State Police.

Also remembered will be Msgr. Mark Giordani, former police and Blue Mass chaplain; Lt. Frank Petrelli and Det. Robert D. Smith of the Paterson Police Department; and Det. Ken Predmore of the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.
A luncheon will follow the Mass at the Rodimer Center. The cost is $35 per person.
Parking will be available in the parking garage across from the Rodimer Center.
